Honda was recently spotted in the California desert with its two upcoming Honda cars that are both hybrid. Reports said that the one of the upcoming Honda car is an all-new Hybrid five door hatchback civic.

upcoming Honda car, according to some Honda enthusiasts, has some of the Toyota’s Prius look. The unnamed Honda Hybrid is said to have a price lower than of a Prius and Civic Hybrid. It will also have lithium ion, batteries, nickel metal hydride system and a small gas engine.
Honda is expecting to sell at least 200,000 of this unnamed car. Half of it will be distributed to United States. Dealership is scheduled to have this new hybrid in late 2009 as a 2010 model. It will be released alongside with a hybrid sports coupe.
According to some speculations, the unnamed Honda has a decent legroom and headroom and is noticeably spacious. It also has back seats that can be folded. Truncated tail design and lift gates with a supplemental window pane can also be found beneath the rear spoiler. The unnamed upcoming Honda car is electrically powered, gas powered, or a mix of the two.
According to Honda, this upcoming vehicle can be operated with electric power alone, with its fuel injectors off, and with its crankshaft and engine parts moving whenever electricity is being used.
Reports said that the point of this upcoming Honda car is to make hybrid more affordable and hence be accessible to more car buyers.
With this upcoming model, Honda does not want to necessarily focus on breaking or empowering technological grounds but rather with bringing hybrid efficiency to those customers who until now think that hybrids are too pricey and are only for the luxurious.
